Birdie Birthday Parties

Do you have a nature loving kid in your life? We can host a bird-inspired, nature-themed birthday party (or a bird-day party!) just for them! What does this look like?

Bird-day Parties at Backyard Birds involve the following activities:

• (1) Creating a bird-related craft,
• (2) Handling actual bird-related specimens like feathers and nests,
• (3) Creating a bird food ornaments - either seed ornaments or suet pinecones,
• (4) Dissecting an owl pellet to discover the bones of small rodents and birds inside!

Other Important Party Details:

• We can host a minimum of 5 children, and a maximum of 12 children.
• The cost is $17.50+tax per child, which covers the costs of supplies for the party.
• Parties are 2.5 hours long, with 2 hours of facilitated programs, and then 30 minutes for cake, snacks, and presents. Most parties are booked on Sundays, due to availability of our team.
• These parties are best suited to kids aged 5 to 11, but we have had guests as young as 3 years old, and as old as 13 years old.

Backyard Birds provides all supplies required for the guided activities, as well as tables & chairs, balloons & custom birthday signage. You also have access to a food table and fridge for storing food or cupcakes. We provide you with an invitation template for the party that you can send out electronically or print and hand out to guests. All participants take home a bag full of the goodies they create and discover during the party!

Allergy Notice: Birthday Parties are NOT nut-free. Our store is full of nuts, and we use a peanut suet for one of the activities. Please keep this in mind when booking and inviting guests. The allergy notice is listed on the invitations as well.
